Chemical Management – Charter Hall
Workplaces are required to have a register of chemicals stored on-site. For several years, Charter Hall has relied on QED to prepare registers for its national office portfolio, initially as paper files of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) following QED’s inspection. In 2016 Charter Hall conducted a successful pilot of QED’s online service for chemical storage management. The service ensures that the chemical register and SDSs are always up to date, compliant, and readily available. Charter Hall’s National Operations Manager, Alan Johncock, commented:
We are very pleased with the online service that QED provides. It’s straightforward to use, and keeps us compliant by making the chemical register available to staff and contractors as required.
